Jangalee
Stand face to face with two unusual tiger species, Asian clawed otters and the red panda!
About Jangalee
Even before the entrance, you will encounter two Asian animal species: the red panda and the Asian small-clawed otter. After exploring the park through some other expedition areas, you will return to another part of Jangelee, the area where you will find the white tiger and Amur tiger. They live separately from each other. The white tiger arrived in the summer of 2015. In particular, the white coat and eye color make this tiger species very beautiful to see, but also very special. In fact, the color is a genetic anomaly. Besides the color, there can be other abnormalities that unfortunately can also cause health problems. Because of this, it is better that this tiger species does not reproduce anymore. The Amur tiger came to ZooParc in 2023. This is also a special tiger species because the Amur tiger likes to swim, which is really an exception for a feline.
ZooParc Overloon is a member of the NVD and EAZA, a seal of quality for zoos and, in part because of this, carefully lives an anti-breeding policy with the white tiger.

You start your expedition in one part of Jangelee where you will encounter the Asian clawed otter and the red panda. You will arrive in the other part of Jangalee once you have already passed through a number of expedition areas. From the park entrance, walk through the following areas first and then you will automatically reach the part where the tiger species are located: the Headquarter, Boulders Beach and the Outback. Expedition Area Jangalee is also close to hospitality point BaseCamp, where you can enjoy snacks and drinks on the terrace.
