About Boulders Beach
Expedition area Boulders Beach is named after a famous beach on the South African coast where penguins live. There are a total of 17 penguin species around the world, but the African penguin is the only penguin species in all of Africa! At Boulders Beach, you can just walk among the penguins! In addition, you can also have a good look at the penguins during a break on the terrace of the Headquarter.

Expedition area Boulders Beach is located next to Headquarter. So you will encounter Boulders Beach at the beginning of your expedition. Along the way, you will have already encountered the red pandas and Asian clawed otters and walked through Headquarter. Did you know that from the terrace of the Headquarter you even have a view of Boulders Beach?
