About the Outback

In the Outback, you enter a vast expanse of Australian wildlife. You will meet different species of kangaroos, such as: the red giant kangaroo, swamp wallaby and bennet wallaby. You can watch them up close, as they hop along the trails in the Outback, wherever you walk.

Since 2016, dromedaries have also been walking in the Outback. But that's not an Australian species at all, is it? Yes and no! Originally from the Middle East, the dromedary was brought to Australia to serve as a beast of burden.

Where do you find the expedition area?

You'll find the Outback fairly near the beginning of your expedition. When you start at the Headquarter and then through Boulders Beach boulders Beach, you will find yourself in the Outback. From the Outback you can walk straight on to the next expedition area.
