ZooParc and Stichting Wildlife commit to 2 local projects
ZooParc Overloon and Stichting Wildlife have recently committed to two local projects. These are the Bat Sanctuary Oss and beekeeping organization ZwarteBij.org. ZooParc, through Stichting Wildlife, has been committed to various conservation projects, such as the Giraffe Conservation Foundation and the Fossa Fund, for many years.
TheBat shelter Oss captures around fifty bats each year. These are young animals that have lost their mothers and injured animals. The rehabilitated bats are released back into the wild.
Thanks in part to the support ofStichting Wildlife among other things, the Bat Sanctuary Oss can refurbish the transport bins and buy new materials.
