Lifelike dinosaurs take over ZooParc Overloon this fall

ZooParc Overloon will be taken over by colossal animals this fall. At least fourteen lifelike dinosaurs will be on display in the park between Oct. 1 and Nov. 8.

During Dino Weeks, exhibits at Overloon include a seven-meter Tyrannosaurus Rex, a six-meter Brachiosaurus and a Triceratops as tall as nine meters. These lifelike creations, some of which move and make sounds, are normally on display at World of Dinos, Europe's largest dino expo.

Ancestry
"I think dinosaurs are really fantastic. It's impossible to imagine that they ever walked around here. Dinosaurs are the ancestors of most modern birds and reptiles. This makes it very easy for visitors to make the link with this era," said an enthusiastic Roel Huibers, general manager of ZooParc Overloon.

ZooParc will feature at least fourteen dinos scattered throughout the park. Next to all creations will be signs with information about their habits, eating habits and way of life.
