Decorate an Easter egg for monkeys at ZooParc Overloon

Naturally, Easter will also be celebrated at ZooParc Overloon. Children who hand in a beautifully painted or decorated hard-boiled egg at the reception desk on the first and second day of Easter will have a chance to win an annual pass for the whole family. The eggs will be fed both days to all the ape-like animals of the Brabant zoo located near the provincial border of Gelderland and Limburg.

Upon turning in the beautifully decorated egg, children/parents leave their contact information on a fill-in form. The eggs provide a tasty meal for squirrel monkeys, bearded monkeys and vari's, among others, during the Easter season. The best egg will be rewarded with an annual pass for the whole family. The winner will be notified after Easter.

New residents

Starting this Friday, Zooparc Overloon's newest residents will also be on display to the public. The Siberian tigers and dromedaries arrived in the park this week. Head of animal care Steven van den Heuvel explains, "The Siberian tigers are Bart and Leela. They are a brother and sister from Safaripark Beekse Bergen. The dromedaries - mother and daughter - can also be admired from Friday."

Expedition Stories

Visitors to ZooParc Overloon can enjoy special expedition stories from the animal keepers every day from Good Friday through the summer season, entirely in line with the newly implemented theme: Expedition ZooParc Overloon. The times of all activities can be found in the daily program available at the reception desk.
