About Ngyuwe
In 2025, ZooParc Overloon will open the expedition area Ngyuwe, a unique experience that takes visitors into the enchanting world of Tropical Africa. This new area, inspired by countries such as Ivory Coast and Congo, spans two hectares, making it the largest construction project in ZooParc's history. Here you will have the chance to admire special animals up close and learn more about this unique region.
During your exploration in Ngyuwe, you will not only admire special animals, but also gain insight into the challenges the region faces, such as poaching and deforestation. This combination of nature, adventure and awareness makes Ngyuwe a unique experience. From summer 2025, you are welcome to explore the area yourself!
Making of Ngyuwe
With the video series called ‘Making of Ngyuwe’, we take you through the developments of the new Tropical Africa area in ZooParc. We show which special animal species will have a place in this new expedition area, talk to the designer and biologist, among others, and keep you up to date on the construction developments.
