this part of the diet of the red titi in the wild consists of fruit, the rest of leaves and a small amount of insects.
Red titi remain with the same partner throughout their lives. Often a male and female live together with some of their young. When a young is born, it is the father who takes care of it. He takes the young on his back immediately after birth. He or she only joins the mother to drink milk.
Every morning, the male and female red titi sing a duet together. By doing so, they let their neighbors know which part of the forest belongs to them. Such a duet can last up to five minutes. Each pair has its own song. The longer a couple is together, the more elaborate the song is.
