    Strangling snake but not venomous

The boa constrictor is a garter snake. So it has no fangs to kill its prey with. When it catches an animal, it turns its body completely around it. It then squeezes its muscles tighter and tighter until its prey suffocates. When the prey is dead, the boa constrictor swallows it whole.
