days, that's how long it can take for the eggs to hatch
The female boa constrictor does not lay her eggs in a nest. She keeps them in her abdomen to incubate them. This keeps the eggs safe. After five to eight months, the eggs hatch. The young can take care of themselves immediately after birth.
The boa constrictor is a garter snake. So it has no fangs to kill its prey with. When it catches an animal, it turns its body completely around it. It then squeezes its muscles tighter and tighter until its prey suffocates. When the prey is dead, the boa constrictor swallows it whole.
